Being a passionate, voracious reader I must share my love of books...specifcally, my newest decor "bible" The New Eighteenth-Century Style!
I had been pining for this book for some time and was keeping my eye on the used copies through Amazon. I was thrilled when a seller listed a like new copy very reasonably priced! This arrived in the mail yesterday and I couldn't wait to get comfy and browse the pages! Let me tell you...HEAVEN, french style!
Pure decadence! Rusty, crusty, peely, chippy all in one place!
I so relate to this style of decor!
Notice the warped, weathered, water stained old books amongst the taxidermy specimens! Love, Love!
The pictures of these pages don't do this book justice! You must RUN, don't walk, to get yourself a copy if you at all appreciate this style! Scrumptious!
Each page just gets better than the last, although, the entire book is insanely FABULOUS!

I share your love of books - can't get enough! I recently purchased a book called 'etc' by Sibella Court...I think it will be right up your alley x (creating beautiful interiors with the things you love).
That looks like a book that was worth the wait! Nothing like being able to sink in between the pages of a good decorating book.

I love your new book, one of my faves! I've had it for a couple of years now and I've about worn it out! There is another one by the same auther, The New French Deco...Living with Timelss Objects! It is faulous!

Oh yes!!!! BOOKS! And your latest?!?! Insanely fabulous - purrfect description. That is probably "her" number one favorite book and has been since it came out. Someone at one of the shows "she" was doing told "her" there was a book out that was simply "her" style....yes a thousand times. Don't let anyone come between "her" and that book....you'll understand by the time you've looked at it from cover to cover ;)
