She is not entirely finished...as I have a few tweaks left, such as, finishing the croc hide insets, placing the ceiling tin and wallpaper.

A handful of finishing touches and she will be complete!!!

Remnants of the Past...Past Due!!!

Greetings to all of you, dear, sweet, PATIENT, friends!!! To say our lives have been a whirlwind as of late, would be a HUGE understatement!!! But the wait is over...we want you to know what we have been up to...

REMNANTS OF THE PAST VINTAGE SHOW, was held in San Luis Obispo on the central California coast. LIPSTICK GYPSY was blessed and honored to be personally selected and invited to be among the BEST of the BEST in this biz!!! 

WHAT AN HONOR...once again we were among over-the-top, infinite, amazing talent!!! 

"Rustic Romance"...pink was our theme, vintage was our scheme!

My line of THE ORIGINAL Shabby Gypsy Slips...were a huge hit and sold phenomenally well! I came home with only a handful! :)

Many were sold the first day, and returned the next day worn by there new owners looking quite snappy!

Katy and Collette...two of my faves!!! With incredible talent and an amazing stage set for this show...

I wanted some of EVERYTHING in their space...truly awe inspiring, the GREAT JUNK they gathered for this sale!!!

"TIN GYPSY" Travel

Dear Gypsy Souls,

The graphics are complete, and "TIN GYPSY" hit the road in highfalutin style!

She journeyed on her maiden voyage all the way to Roseville, CA for the Mes Amis Antique Street Market.

Love how the art package came together  for my girl!

What a labor of love!!!

To market we go...

She was so well recieved...she was the most popular girl at the party!!!

Thanks again Sandy, for all you do, and all you are!!!

The hostess with the mostess!!! We felt loved and looked after, and look forward to seeing you in the spring!!!

On the Road Again!

Like the typical GYPSIES we are...we've got an itch to MOVE!!! Impromptu ROAD TRIP!!!

My dear friend Sandy, formerly of Tattered House, has invited me once again to her NEW Mes Amis street market.

We are thrilled to be apart of her great Vintage Antique Show for the 3rd time! If you haven't made a point to attend this market in the past, this would be a great time to do it! With over 40 hand-picked, carefully selected vendors, this is a MUST SEE and a great all around Vintage Market experience!

I HAD A "GYPSY" DREAM...

I HAD A "GYPSY" DREAM...

For six years SHE sat on our property sad, lonely, and tired!

She is my 1965 Cardinal Lovebird vintage "TIN GYPSY"!!! 

 

She had such great bones...but needed some major LOVE, elbow grease, and TLC!

Now the real kick here and sentimentality is, she was born the same year I was!!!

GYPSY WANDERLUST SOUL MATES...YEAH I THINK SO!

She called to me and asked for a FACE LIFT! She had waited oh too long...

OH-MY-G-Y-P-S-Y!!!!!

SHE was away for much too long...

but the perfect shade of lipstick is worth the wait!!!



The JOY I feel from just staring at her in the driveway is indescribable...I can't imagine the euphoria of taking her on the highways and byways!!!

She will be my "SHOW PONY", travel companion, partner-in-crime, glamper, highway hotel, and all around "TIN GYPSY" 

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER to BITS!!!

Keep close as "TIN GYPSY" continues her restoration "journey". 

As we progress with her up do, I will continue to share her evolution!
