Shabby Secret Garden Patio

As summer wanes and fall lurks around the corner my thoughts drift to the shabby romantic garden patio that I have yet to create, directly outside of my shabby gypsy studio. I have gathered a few items for the purpose of creating my own "secret garden" space.

This is currently how the patio appears now, generic and undone. Eventually, I will put the gypsy touch on and plant masses of vines, roses, flowers, and foliage to create a green gypsy oasis! Of course, I will add old, rusty, chippy, peely garden furniture, relics and other desireable curiosities.

This spiral metal piece will be a lot of fun to play with! I found it in an antique store in Nevada for a steal-of-a-deal!

I found this darling set on Craigslist. It is lilliputian size, perfect for my grand-gypsy and her grand-gypsy-NAN to have a terrific tattered tea party on the patio!

Also a Craigslist find...a wall fountain that is almost as tall as I am and is just glorious!

I love the cool green feeling this patio evokes and hope to capture that same essence on mine!

Adore the french flair!

For the covered area of the patio??? Or possibly IN the studio! I simply love the burlaps, nubby flaxes, and heavy linens of that scrumptious french style!

As for the romantic side of things...this glam greenhouse has got it going on!! What a fabulous retreat...talk about "A Room of Her Own"! Now to combine a few of the elements of each of the above to create a Gypsy wonderland that is my own! What are your favorite outdoor spaces?

xoxo Keep it Gypsy!

Totaly in love with your blog, your style and the imagery you choose to dislay. I can hardly wait to see how you transform your secret garden. The pieces you have selected for the area are gorgeous.
