I HAD A "GYPSY" DREAM...

I HAD A "GYPSY" DREAM...

For six years SHE sat on our property sad, lonely, and tired!

She is my 1965 Cardinal Lovebird vintage "TIN GYPSY"!!!

She had such great bones...but needed some major LOVE, elbow grease, and TLC!

Now the real kick here and sentimentality is, she was born the same year I was!!!

GYPSY WANDERLUST SOUL MATES...YEAH I THINK SO!

She called to me and asked for a FACE LIFT! She had waited oh too long...

OH-MY-G-Y-P-S-Y!!!!!

SHE was away for much too long...

but the perfect shade of lipstick is worth the wait!!!

The JOY I feel from just staring at her in the driveway is indescribable...I can't imagine the euphoria of taking her on the highways and byways!!!

She will be my "SHOW PONY", travel companion, partner-in-crime, glamper, highway hotel, and all around "TIN GYPSY"

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER to BITS!!!

Keep close as "TIN GYPSY" continues her restoration "journey".

As we progress with her up do, I will continue to share her evolution!

Gypsy Sisters...please share your vintage trailer and glamping adventures that you have had or may DREAM about!!!

HAPPY GYPSY TRAILS!!!

XOXO

Wouw ... what a beauty.

Can´t wait to see her inside.

It´s funny. At that time I always give my new vintage trailer a new makeup. Look here for it

So...I found my 1966 cardinal flipper in my new neighborhood when we moved. The camper was a complete start over have some pictures just haven't posted them yet. She has been about a 3 year project outside the entire time in my backyard. My interior is one I have never seen in picture but I ha e seen siimmilar.itis against the front curved wall. My ac is a window unit in the window. Our friend had a donor camper . It was a 23 footer. So this camper has been a total redo but I have saved as much original parts and found a replacement stove and am still working on the cabinets but we are attempting to take her on her 2nd maiden voyage. We recently got the toelights, taillights and license plate light working yay big win !!! The vent on the roof was missing, no windows and sitting 10 inches to short on 2×4s when she drove to my yard across town. So she is almost done the original wood was shot the wood frame. Was all damaged, etc. The copper was gone or bent so redo, on all that with shark bites and cpvc. Wood flooring upgrade rubber paint job so far. Was gold, white, and red I think. Currently white but on our way to awesome. Thank you for listening!
